At packed hall at the Selby Centre on Friday 22nd May; residents, businesses, voluntary organisations and senior council officers came together to discuss how to reduce the racial inequality in the borough.

The event was put on by the Selby Trust and Black Training Enterprise Group (BTEG) with the support of the Joseph Rowntree Foundation and the Runnymede Trust. Chaired by David Lammy MP speakers included Neale Coleman; Mayoral Advisor on Tottenham and Cllr Joe Goldberg; Executive Member for Economic Development and Social Inclusion.

The Selby Centre in Tottenham will be hosting a General Election hustings on Tuesday 21st April 2015. This will be an opportunity for residents of Tottenham to ask the candidates questions on issues that matter to them.

All 5 main candidates standing for the General Election have confirmed their attendance in what is expected to be one of the most interesting elections of recent times.

The event will be held at The Selby Centre, Selby Road, Tottenham N17 8JL from 1:30pm to 4pm on Tuesday 21st April 2015.
