THIS EVENT IS FULLY BOOKED
Priority to this event will be given to voluntary and community sector organisations working with young people in Haringey
The Mayor's new £45m Young Londoners Fund will help children and young people to fulfil their potential, particularly those at risk of getting caught up in crime. It will support a range of education, sport, cultural and other activities for children and young people.
The 3-year fund will see £30m made available for projects in local communities.
Why we are hosting this event?
We want to ensure that young people in Haringey benefit from as many projects and opportunities as possible. The more organisations who put in applications for funding, the more our young people will benefit. We are aiming to
- Increase the number of applications from Haringey by ensuring as many voluntary and community organisations are aware as possible.
- Increase the success rate of applications by ensuring voluntary and community organisations have the information that they need to apply
Format of event:
We will be joined by Joanne McCartney (Deputy Mayor for London) who will give an overview of the funding, talk attendees through how the funding will work, answer any questions and also give information on what other funds are available from the Mayor's Office.
This event will be chaired by David Lammy MP and Catherine West MP.
