Meet the new agencies in Learning and Skills

Feb 5 2010 - 5:44pm

The Third Sector National Learning Alliance (TSNLA) is holding two events where you can meet and hear from senior staff at the Young People’s Learning Agency, REACT at the Local Government Agency and the Skills Funding Agency. There will also be the opportunity to highlight critical issues from the third sector provider perspective and an input on the Framework for Excellence provided by the Learning Skills Council (LSC). Delegates will get an update on how the new agencies and arrangements will fit with, and work in partnership with, third sector providers and representatives.

Workshops will also be held on:

  • How will commissioning work for young people’s learning with multi area providers? - facilitated by Richard Williams of the Rathbone Society
  • The Framework for Excellence and the third sector - LSC
  • Are there funding opportunities with the new agencies? - Skills Development Surgeries for providers seeking to access funding from the new commissioners
  • A Toolkit for commissioners to work with the third sector

The half day events are on 26 February 2010 in Leeds and 4 March 2010 in London.

To register for either event please email: tsnla@llccic.org.uk with either ‘London’ or ‘Leeds’ in the subject line of your message.
