Skepta's Music Studio Opens at The Selby Centre
Skepta have partnered with Levi Strauss to establish a community youth music facility at the Selby Centre in the heart of Skepta's hometown of Tottenham, North London. As a fiercely independent artist who cites the importance of his team network, and every aspect that comes together to allow him to perform, this inaugural music project will educate the participants in all areas of building a music career in the modern digital age. The launch of the Levi's Music Project coincided with Levi's involvement with the V&A Museum as headline partner for their latest big exhibition, “You say you want a revolution? Records and Rebels 1966-70” Skepta and the group were inspired and guided by the themes of the exhibition, with the culmination of the project being a performance at the V&A as part of “The Revolution Weekender” on 5th November, where the group of young artists showed the world what they've been working on.
