Event Description: 

This is a six-week course held one day a week

Does your staff member need a professional qualification to help them provide Information Advice and Guidance?

Enrolment/Assessment Workshop – on Thursday 18th April 2019 9:30am - 3pm

Elegibility Requirements: 

  • You must be a Citizen of the European Union and have resided in the EU for at least 3 years;
  • You must be unemployed at the time of your enrolment and have proof that you in receipt of JSA; ESA; Universal Credit or if you are in receipt of National Insurance Credits only;
  • You are working but earning less than £15,736.50 per annum and have proof of this i.e. payslip or contract of employment (dated no more than 3 months old).

You will be contacted after the enrolment/workshop to let you know if you have been successful.

· Careers and Employment Advisor

· Counsellor

· Customer Service Advisor

· Debt Advisor

· Help-desk and Housing Advisor

· Learning Support Worker

· Youth and Peer Mentor

NCFE CACHE Level 2 Certificate in Information, Advice or Guidance

A total of 6 credits from the two mandatory units:

o Unit 1: Information, advice or guidance in practice (Credits: 3)

o Unit 2: Developing interaction skills for information, advice or guidance (Credits: 3)

A minimum of 9 credits from the optional units

o Unit 3: Signposting and referral in information, advice or guidance (Credits: 3)

o Unit 4: Information, advice or guidance – context (Credits: 3)

o Unit 7: Managing information (Credits: 3)
